Recurring missions

A mission that repeats on its own, every day, week or month.

Pick how often it should come back. When one round ends the next opens by itself, with progress reset to zero and the reward there to be won again. Nobody has to switch it on, and nothing has to run on a schedule at your end or ours.

What you decide

You set how often it repeats and what has to be done. Nothing else.

There are four settings: how often it comes back, whether everybody resets at the same moment or a full cycle after each customer starts, what a customer has to do in a round, and how many days of that round it stays open. Fill those in and it runs on its own until you turn it off.

the same mission, three months in a row
A monthly mission shown as three months in a row. March is finished and paid, April is running now with one of three done, May has not started. March All 3 done Reward paid finished April 1 of 3 done Reward still to win running now May Nothing done yet Opens on 1 May not started Every month it opens again on its own, and progress goes back to zero.

You set this up once. Nobody has to remember to start June.

How often

How often it comes back

One day, one week starting on the day your business uses, or one calendar month.

Round

What one round holds

Each round is separate, with its own progress and its own reward to win.

Open for

How much of it is open

Set in whole days, and only if you want one. Leave it alone and the mission is open the whole time.

A real example

A daily mission that pays 25 points for coming back.

What a customer has to do

how this is set up
Visits >= 1 that day
They get 25 points, the same day

A customer in Lisbon and one in Tokyo each count their own day, and a shared round turns over on your project's clock. If somebody misses Wednesday, nothing is lost. Where a missed day should cost something, use a streak.

Questions people ask

You run nothing on a schedule, and daily is the shortest cycle.

No, on your side or ours. A mission you set up this afternoon will still open a fresh cycle in two years.

No. Daily, weekly or monthly only, with windows measured in whole days. For a one-off campaign, give an ordinary mission a start and end date.

Tell us how often it should come back and what it should pay. We will build it in a test account during the call and roll it to the next cycle while you watch.
