About Gemifier

We kept hitting the same gaps, so we built the engine around them.

Gemifier is built by people who ran engagement programmes in production, not by people who read about them. Founded in 2026, self funded, and small on purpose.

The argument

The idea took an afternoon. Getting it live took months.

Every company we speak to already knows what they want to run. A daily streak. A first-week mission. A points shop. The idea is not the scarce thing.

What stops it is the second conversation. The vendor needs a read replica, a database user, or a nightly export of customer records. A retention idea becomes a data-protection review. Most of those projects die there.

So we inverted it. Gemifier has no way to reach into your systems, because we never built one. You tell us what a customer did, and read their missions, streak, balance and shop back out for your own screens.

the constraint we started from
  • No database access. Not restricted: absent. There is nothing to grant.
  • No end-user identities. An end user is your own opaque identifier and nothing else.
  • No money. Points are internal. Real prizes are recorded as grants your platform fulfils.
  • No lock-in on your data model. You choose the numbers and traits we hold.

Everything else follows from these four decisions.

What we believe

What we will not build.

There is no limit to what you can build on top of this. There are limits on what we will build ourselves.

01

Nothing that tricks anybody

If a mechanic only works because a customer misreads it, we will not build it. The cost: we say no to things that would have worked, in the short run.

02

Nothing that does not actually work

A feature that looks good in a demo and moves nothing is worse than no feature. The cost: a shorter list than the people we compete with.

03

Honest mechanics beat generous ones

A streak has no grace period and no freeze. Miss a day and it restarts at one. The cost: a worse retention chart in month one, for a number that still means something in month twelve.

It is more than gamification

Points and streaks are the easy part to name. What actually moves people is older than any of this: a deadline, a run worth protecting, something almost finished. There is no border on what you can build here except your own imagination.

Judge it by watching it run on your own data.

Bring a mechanic and a sceptical engineer. Thirty minutes is usually enough to decide.
